"Alex is a phenomenal fitness professional. We've been working together for over a year now. Prior to hiring Alex, I had worked on my own and, on and off, with a half dozen or so other trainers over the prior decade. Simply stated, Alex is different. He is highly detail-oriented and creates a customized plan based on his client's goals. Incredibly knowledgeable about physiology and nutrition, Alex develops an intuition for his clients' bodies, both in terms of injury prevention and how progress should be tracking, so that he is able to make any necessary changes quickly in order to get the most out of your time and money. My goal during the first stage of our work together was to put on muscle while burning fat. This is typically a difficult task - it's hard to grow while in a caloric deficit - but, with Alex's help, I did! It had everything to do with his approach to progressive overload, pushing me to make progress in each session. My goal in the next six months of our work together was to grow lean muscle in my shoulders, delts, and back while not putting on fat. Alex revised his custom plan for me, and it's worked better than any other one that I've experienced. I couldn't recommend working with Alex highly enough. Not only is he a tremendous trainer, but he's also become a very good friend."
